Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"I visited this restaurant last year in Oct 24 while visiting from India. I was very happy to see and meet Indian community here and also met an old gentleman (living in Malacca) who gifted us a chocolate and had a very warm chat. There was also a staff from India who was planning to visit Thailand then. These interactions somehow have now become my memories from Malaysia trip and I still keep thinking if I ever visit Malaysia again, I will visit this restaurant for sure, and meet that uncle ji again. Warm regards. If restaurant owner is reading this review, pls convey our regards to that Uncle ji. He seemed to be a regular visitor at this place, and I think has retired from engineering job."
"Really good Indian restaurant in Malacca. We got good chapati with veg curry here inspite of late hours they prepared served with care. Good one for my Herbivores. :-)"
"Very nice Mee Goreng Ayam (noodles with chicken and vegetables) and a perfect spice, for my taste atleast. The chicken pieces were still connected to the bone which made it a bit difficult to eat without a knife. Roti Pisang (Banana Roti) wasn't too bad either. 1 km delivery to my hotel at 8pm took about an hour as they were busy, so give them time. Its always better to wait for a good meal rather than having a microwave cooked one."
"Great food and service, lately with even bigger variety. Place was refurbished a few months ago. Better and cleaner than the average street corner restoran. One of the reasons for staying in Laksamana when I'm in Malacca. Usually coming here twice a day. Edit: most bad ratings are for the branch close to Little India (brown tables), not this one (beige tables). I don't know, why people don't check what they are rating..."
"We were roaming for food at late night and found they were open. That was good to see because most of the restaurants closed at 8 pm. Here the food was good also. And they are open till late at night. The cost was normal also. Try Roti Tisu that is very local and can give you original Malaysian food taste."
"Shawarma taste good just love it juicy soft also mutton briyani was superb"
"Ohhh superb taste of INDIAN FOODS reasonable price Idli chutney sambar Dosa very tasty"
"Really tasty and had my fix of roti telur. We were too busy sight seeing and thank god this shop was open till late so we could have our dinner."
